Malavika Joshi is a prolific poet, writer and an expert teller of children stories rooted in the Indian culture and tradition. She enjoys a large virtual fan-following for her story-telling sessions and workshops. Her poem collection is already published as a book while two more are in the pipeline. An avid theatre person, with the experience of acting in many stage and television plays with prestigious groups and eminent directors, Malavika is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, choreographer, and a classical vocalist. She has the prestigious B-High grade certification by the All India Radio as well. She has taught children from the higher secondary school to nursery for a substantial number of years and has developed innovative teaching methodologies along the way as an academic. She derives a lot of pleasure in inculcating the joy of learning among children. She holds a Masters in Botany and Education.
